Tips and Instructions for burning a candle:

Please read the burn instruction on the bottom of the candle before burning. 

Fire + Injury Prevention: Keep away from drafts, children and pets. Keep away from anything that can catch fire. Never touch container while burning or for 1 hour after extinguishing flame. Place your candle on a heat-resistant surface. For safety and longevity trim the wick to 1/4” (0.6cm) before each use.

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Tips for a more even burn: Allow the pooled– melted wax to reach the edged of the container before extinguishing the flame. Burn for up to 3 hours at a time. Keep wick straight, centred and trimmed to 1/4” (0.6cm). 

What are Kiara Ventrella candles made of?

Artisan Candle Makers hand pour each candle in Canada using the finest ingredients and multiple pours. We use premium soy wax and essential oils. 

All wicks are lead-free 100% unbleached cotton. Vegan; and there is no
testing on animals. The candles are Phthalate-Free and GMO-Free.

All packaging is recyclable, the glass candle vessels are made in North America and can be repurposed. See below section about reusing the glass candle vessels.

Tips for reusing the glass candle vessel

When candle finishes– place the glass with the remaining wax in the freezer. The wax then slides out and you can repurpose the glass vessel.

What do I do if the wax comes loose from the glass?

Due to the nature of the candles please be mindful that this is completely normal. The soy wax will contract and may come loose from the glass under cold temperatures. The wax will expand back to normal size at room temperature.  Postal warehouses and deliveries during the winter months are not temperature regulated. Please be careful when removing candles from their individual boxes– allow them to reach room temperature once your shipment has arrived.
